We offer programs for children during THE FIRST SERVICE on Sunday Mornings during the summer. (9:00 am) *starting Aug. 21st we will offer programs for both services (9 & 10:45) for Pre-school through 5th grade and provide nursery care during the first service.
Ages 2 1/2 – 5 years old: Meet downstairs
K – 5th grade: Meet upstairs
It is an honor and privilege to partner with parents, the primary disciplers of their children. We provide a loving, safe environment and seek to make the most of the time we have with the children.
Each Sunday we have Fellowship Time, where children interact with their teacher and helper and other children, Praise and Worship Time , where we sing songs (see a glimpse here), Story Time, where the Bible Story is shared (see below for more information on the curriculum we use), Activity and/or Craft Time, which is centered around the lesson, and Prayer Time, where prayer requests are shared and prayed for.
The curriculum we use is entitled The Gospel Project. Every week children in all grades learn the same Bible story. Three values are consistently reflected in the Bible lessons: Jesus-Centered, Gospel-Transforming and Missions-Driven. There are various at-home resources available. The curriculum reinforces our vision of Love Jesus First as well as heart transformation. For more information regarding our curriculum click here. The Gospel Project for Kids' Facebook page can be linked to here.

Nursery care for newborns to age 2 1/2 is provided during the 9:00 am Sunday services. They also have a Main Point each week from The Gospel Project curriculum which the nursery workers go over with the toddlers.
Diaper Bag Items to Pack: two disposable diapers, pacifier or other security item, a bottle or sippy cup of milk, formula, juice or water.
Check-In/Check-Out Procedure: At the time of check-in an adhesive name tag will be applied to your child's back with his or her name on it. You will be given a parent sticker tag with your number combination on it that matches your child's name tag. You will need to show this to the nursery worker in order to pick up your child at the end of service.
Snacks: We have crackers available for toddlers. When you check-in, you can indicate whether or not you want your child to have a snack and any additional information regarding feeding etc.
Saying Goodbye and Checking on Your Child: Tips after you have checked your child in: 1) Stay Calm 2) Be Positive ("it will be fine, you'll have fun here") 3) Don't Linger (this can make it harder on the child and you) 4) Say Goodbye, (letting them know when you'll return). Feel free to check on your little one at any time during the service. We ask, however, that you do so discreetly, trying not to let your child see you.
Nursing Mothers: Nursing mothers may come into the room to nurse. Because our space is limited we ask mother to keep their stay to just the time required to meet the needs of the child.
Family Room: We have a room where you can keep your little ones with you as you observe and listen to the service.
