WHY WE GIVE
Generosity follows the example of God.
God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16, NIV)
All that we have is a gift from God.
As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share. (1 Timothy 6:17-18, NIV)
Materialism ruins your relationship with God.
No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. (Luke 16:13, NIV)
RUSS GEORGE
Russ George is with APM (Asset Planning Ministries), a non-profit Christian organization that aims to help others create financial stability through biblical stewardship and investment principles.
Russ graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. After graduation he served for six years in the US Marine Corps as an infantry officer. He then worked in the paper industry for 27 years, the last ten of which he ran the Northern California region for a large national paper company. He was responsible for the profit and loss of an $80 million business. Russ joined Asset Planning Ministries in 2010. There are never any charges or fees for his services. This is a free gift to you!
