Nathan has been a student of the bible for the better part of two decades and enjoys unraveling its intricacies with others. He is truly awestruck at the depth of God’s Word and how it uniquely applies to each one of us. Nathan is humbled and excited to share Jesus’ teachings. God has blessed Nathan with his wife Amy, daughter Abby, and her fiancé Alex.

Pastor Rick worked in youth ministry for 13 years in L.A.’s South Bay. During that time, he earned a Bachelor of Theology degree from Grace Bible College. In 1989 he came to Community Evangelical Free Church in Susanville California. There he served as youth pastor, associate pastor, and became Lead Pastor in 2004. Finally retiring, after 31 years in December 0f 2020. He holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry from Simpson Graduate School and a Master’s Degree in Intelligent Leadership from A.W. Tozer Seminary. Pastor Rick and his wife Dana have been married for 53 years, come September. They have two grown children, three grandchildren, and two great granddaughters. They are part of LifePointe Christian Church in Elk Grove, when not out serving as pulpit supply, which they love doing.
